Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association (HBA) chapter meetings have long been the cornerstone for bringing our builder and associate members together through networking, educational opportunities and recognition. There are 10 chapters representing 9 counties and the city of Atlanta.

Chapter meetings are held for various reasons, but most important is the exchange of information about government affairs activities within the metro area. Chapter meetings are the primary avenue for members to discuss challenges of large-scale regional issues impacting the entire homebuilding industry, as well as combating laws and regulations at the local government level that impact individual members.
In 2010, the HBA will hold 8 regional meetings in lieu of individual chapter meetings. The regional meetings will present an opportunity to bring our builder and associate members together and provide networking and educational opportunities. Regional meetings will keep members abreast of issues important to the homebuilding industry and host an excellent array of speakers from political leaders to industry experts.
2010 Regional Meeting Dates
- Feb. 17: Dr. David Crowe, chief economist at the National Association of Home Builders, will speak about economic recovery in 2010 and beyond. Meeting held at Renaissance Waverly Hotel at Cobb Galleria Centre.
- March 10: Villa Christina, topic to be determined
- April 28: Maggiano’s Buckhead, topic to be determined
- June 10: The Housing Center, topic to be determined
- Aug. 11: Maggiano’s Buckhead, topic to be determined
- Sept. 11: Green Awareness 5K Run/Walk at Georgia Tech
- Sept. 14: Villa Christina, topic to be determined
- Oct. 6: Cobb Area, location to be determined
