SMC Chairman Letter
Dear Corporate Friends:
Your support and generosity to the Greater Atlanta Home Builders and the Sales and Marketing Council in 2007 was outstanding! We had a record year in membership retention and participation at events. The highlight of the year was winning National SMC of the year. The dedication of our members to increasing their skills through the educational classes we offer has increased each year with a record six MIRMs last year. This shows that the generous contributions you have made make a difference in Atlanta being recognized as a top producer of expert Sales and Marketing professionals. Through the hard work of our Special Events committee, we raised $20,000 at our annual Silent Auction. This money is given to four local charities and once again shows the unprecedented support of our membership.
Given the success of 2007, our goal is to raise $175,000 for the 2008 fiscal year. The funds go toward a broad base of items that lead to the united goal of creating a strong council with the best education, communication and recognition programs in country. The funds support the OBIE Awards, monthly meetings with national speakers, educational courses and our charity event. The sponsorship packages we have outlined ensure that you will get a greater degree of recognition for your financial commitment. Recognition occurs at each and every Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council meeting. You will have opportunities to present collateral from your company or just have one-on-one time with potential clients at all events pending your donation level.
I encourage you to continue your support of the HBA and the Sales and Marketing Council if you have committed in the past. And, if you have not had the opportunity to be a sponsor before, consider the value of your investment and commitment to the 3,900 members of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association and the 400 members of the Sales and Marketing Council.
