The Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council (SMC) was established in 1980 with the primary goal of enhancing the sales and marketing capabilities and reputation of those who represent the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association (HBA). The SMC is dedicated to developing a higher level of professionalism in the general membership through education and the interchange of ideas. As professionals, we strive to perform as well as we can in our jobs.

The SMC, along with the HBA, produces the OBIE Awards each year.
