Student Internship/Co-Op Experience

Building Construction students gain experience through internships, part-time work or co-op opportunities. This is a great opportunity to give back to local schools and provide a student with real world experience.
What is an internship/co-op?
Students work for a professional architecture/engineering/construction company where they learn first-hand about the construction industry. Objectives of the internship include:
- gaining practical experience in the construction industry
- understanding the complex relationships that exist between the various tasks and participants in a construction project
- exposing the intern to numerous management functions that are required within a construction organization
- aiding interns in obtaining future employment
