The Greater Atlanta Remodelers Council of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association gives you valuable access to policies, practices and education that supports the creation of desirable building practices in a growing and sustainable region around metro Atlanta.
The Remodelers Council gives back through community activities such as this HomeAid Atlanta Care Day at The Drake House.
Strengthen your connections. Meetings with other remodelers and related industry specialists give you the opportunity to join your peers to discuss industry issues.
Education and Certification for a Competitive Edge
Both local and national education programs are offered on all aspects of the remodeling business. The Certified Graduate Remodeler, Certified Aging-In-Place Specialist and Certified Professional Home Builder designations can be earned by remodelers. Information on Georgia contractor licensing is also available.
The council publishes Atlanta House & Home Magazine, which is distributed bi-annually. This consumer publication features timely articles on remodeling trends while promoting council members. All members of the council will be listed in the directory in each issue of the magazine.
As part of one of the most influential local and national trade associations, Remodelers Council members have access to the best advocacy at the local, state and national levels.
Information to keep you at the forefront of industry developments. A free subscription to Professional Remodeler magazine, the RENews members-only e-newsletter and NAHB’s members-only Web site keep you in touch with the remodeling industry.
National Remodelers Council Membership
Along with the excellent local resources, a membership in the Greater Atlanta Remodelers Council includes membership in the National Association of Home Builders Remodelers Council, further expanding the scope of information available to remodelers. Its mission is to serve the remodeling industry and consumers by establishing a written code of ethics, quality standards and by offering information, education and professional designation programs.
The council advocates professionalism, business and technical excellence and responsible government, while representing the interests of the remodeling industry to regulatory, legislative, media, trade and consumer groups. As the recognized authority of the professional remodeling industry, the council promotes the opportunity for safe and decent housing for all Americans through preservation and improvement of existing housing stock.
