Beyond the Granite

The objective of this course is to take a comprehensive look at Building Science and to help participants look at a house as a series of systems and understand their impact on Home Energy, Indoor Air Quality, and Moisture.

Instructor David Goulding started Ensign Building Solutions in 2005. As a custom home builder, one of his custom log homes received national attention being featured on the cover of “Country’s Best Log Homes” magazine. Besides building, David is most well known in the construction industry as one of the leading Building Science experts, particularly with respect to energy efficiency, moisture and mold, radon, and other IAQ concerns. As a Building Science Consultant, David designs and implements quality control programs for some of the country’s largest builders. David is a frequent guest on the Home Fix-It Show with Dave Baker on WSB. David’s highest priorities in business are continuous education and conducting all work with integrity.

This session qualifies under the Rules of the Georgia State Licensing Board for Residential and General Contractors for three (3) continuing education credit hours.

CREDIT NOTE: Any session approved for Georgia State Licensing credit or Georgia Real Estate credit requires the participant to attend the FULL session in order to receive credit. The participant is required to sign in and sign out. Failure to sign in and sign out will result in zero (0) credit hours.
