Cities, Counties, States, and the Federal Government all play a role in shaping what our homes look like.
While headlines center around state and national policy, our industry is deeply affected by regulations on the local level.
This class will give a "Schoolhouse Rock" version by covering:

The terms you hear all the time, but have no clue what they mean

The authority that each level of government has over the housing industry

The political landscape of housing (around the metro, the state, the region, and the country)

How builders, developers, and associates can work together to advocate for the housing industry

This class is being taught by Garrett Wiley, the Greater Atlanta HBA's Vice President of Government Affairs.
This session qualifies under the Rules of the Georgia State Licensing Board for Residential and General Contractors for three (3) continuing education credit hours.
CREDIT NOTE: Any session approved for Georgia State Licensing credit or Georgia Real Estate credit requires the participant to attend the FULL session in order to receive credit. The participant is required to sign in and sign out. Failure to sign in and sign out will result in zero (0) credit hours.
